Commentary:

e) l. 1. Probably Septimius Severus in 201 (trib. pot. IX imp. XI) or 202 (trib. pot. X imp. XI). The elaborate, fine-quality lettering is unusual and would more naturally be Commodan; it can hardly be later than Severus.
