Translation:

(a) Iuttaph Domitius, sufete, saw to the making (of this) at his own expense. (b) The aediles gave (this) at their own expense.

Commentary:

To this series belongs a group of six benches (whole or fragmentary) inscribed in Neo-Punic (Neo-Punic 12) translated by Levi Della Vida as follows: l) These six seats were made in the year of the sufetes 'Abdmelqart Tabahpi` and Aris h.p.r.b. Their manufacture (cost) denarii 2) 133 in total: their manufacture (cost) denarii 80 and ha-k.n.d.rīm 9 corresponding to the fines (or to the contributions) which were set apart 3) under the m.hzīm who were in office in that year, and their manufacture (cost) denarii 52 and 4) [lacuna of one line] they made two seats with the fines (or with the contributions) according to the estimate which (was made) 5) under the m.hzīm Candidus and Donatus, they made 4 seats with the fines (or with the contributions) according to the estimate which (was made) under the m.hzīm Idni 6) bal, son of Hannibal s.d.sh.m.r. and Hanno son of Arisham Y.g.m Jk.
